We already see it in Treatment- for several years, we have been witnessing the birth of personalized medicine. Thanks to complicated algorithms and exorbitant databases, we perform precise prevention practices or find the causes of diseases, even before the first patients arrive at the clinic with symptoms. After the first few weeks of Covid-19 pandemic, virologists have already used Google trend analysis to foresee the location of the subsequent outbreaks. Similar analyses were conducted in Italy.

During the first day of the Open Eyes Economy Summit, one of the panels at the debate concerned the future of cities. Anna Tarwinska - a member of the International Foundation for Computational Medicine SANO - was a speaker at this event. From our conversation you will learn:

  • What are computational medicine and personalized treatment?
  • What is data donation?
  • What makes a city suitable for healthy living?
  • What does gathering data about the city allow for?
  • How does data allow for better city design?
  • What is the occupation of computational medicine specialists like?
